Equal Payment Plan

discontinued at this time

In order to be a candidate for the Equal Payment Plan the customer must have been a customer of the City of Monticello at the same service address for at least 12 months immediately preceding the date of this contract.  If the customer should move from the service address during the life of this contract, the contract becomes void.  A reconciliation bill will be generated and the customer will return to regular billing based on monthly meter readings.

The customer agrees to stay on this plan for one year.  At the end of the 12-month contract a new contract must be negotiated for the next 12 months based on actual usage.

If the customer has any major changes in his/her household that would effect consumption (for example, installation of central air or addition of a family member), please notify the City’s Customer Service Department.

The account must remain current (regular payments made by the 15th of each month) or your contract for EPP will become null and void.

By signing this contract, the customer agrees to pay each month an amount equal to one 12th of the total yearly payments based on the 12 months immediately preceding the date of this contract.  Should rate increases occur, the City reserves the right to increase the amount of payment accordingly.
